The tool that we use for our forum is SMF (Simple Machine Forum), one of the commonly used forum software available on the internet. To join the forum the first time, you need to first register with a username (selected by you) and a password. Afterwards, you may login to the system with your username and password. Please be respectful of other members of the forum in your comments. Inappropriate or disrespectful comments will be removed and the user may be blocked from participating in the forum in the future. Basic instructions on how to use the forum software tool

To join the forum the first time, you need to register by providing a username (selected by you) and your password. After you have registered, just login with your username and password to enter the forum. Following is a picture of what you would see when you enter the forum:


 

After you have logged in, following is a picture of what you would see on the screen, with a list of topics:


 

For example, if you want to post a recommendation for a good book to read, click on "Good books to read". After you click on "Good books to read", the following screen would appear:


 

To enter comments for a new book that you wan to recommend, click on "New Topic". Type in the title of the book in the subject box and the description of the book in the blank box. Click "POST" at the bottom of the screen when you are done. Following is a picture of what would be displayed on the screen:
